This is an outstanding school Leaders, including governors, have created a highly inclusive school.
Leaders and staff work together with parents and carers to ensure that pupils are very well prepared for life in modern Britain. Leaders' school improvement strategies are highly effective. Leaders monitor the impact of teaching thoroughly.
They take decisive action to ensure that any pupils who fall behind catch up quickly. Leaders and teachers have the highest expectations. Only the best will do.
Leaders have ensured high levels of consistency in the school's work, for example in improving the quality of writing across the curriculum. Outcomes are out...standing. All groups of pupils make substantial and sustained progress across the curriculum.
Attainment in reading, writing and mathematics is high, particularly by the end of key stage 2. The outstanding curriculum ensures that pupils study a range of subjects in a deep and meaningful way. For example, pupils produce high-quality work in all subjects including art, geography, history and science.
All year groups, including the early years, have a range of educational visits during the school year. These help pupils by bringing their learning to life. Teaching is outstanding.
Teachers have excellent subject knowledge. Their questioning skills make sure that pupils have to think carefully about their learning. Teachers encourage pupils to learn more from making mistakes.
Behaviour is outstanding. Pupils take their learning seriously. They work very hard and want to do well.
Pupils take care in presenting their work across all their subjects. Low-level disruption is extremely rare. Leaders are well aware of the risks that could affect pupils in their lives.
Leaders and governors are proactive in educating staff, pupils and parents on these risks, particularly female genital mutilation and radicalisation. The early years is outstanding. Teaching identifies and responds to children's different needs quickly.
Highly stimulating teaching and the inspiring learning environment help children to become curious and imaginative learners. Leaders agree that there is more scope to ensure that the outdoor area helps support children's language development. Leaders have created a culture where pupils have tolerance and respect for different attitudes and beliefs.
Leaders know that they must develop more opportunities for pupils to learn about the full range of the protected characteristics in an age-appropriate way.
