This provision is good • Staff provide a wide range of stimulating and challenging activities to engage and motivate all groups of children in their care. They closely match work to children's interests and curiosity. Children have many opportunities to make their own decisions and choose toys and activities for themselves.

• The experienced managers provide clear and purposeful leadership. They are well supported by well-qualified and committed staff. The staff have continued to build on previous strengths.

• Relationships with parents are extremely positive. Parents appreciate the care that staff provide. They know their children's key person well.

They partic...ularly appreciate the flexible organisation and staff's strong support of children's activities at school. • Children are fully engaged from the moment the sessions start, and they behave well. Staff are very good role models.

They know the children and their families well. Staff have a good understanding of how to keep children safe and protected. • Staff have very effective links with other settings children attend, particularly the neighbouring school.

They regularly share information about children's interests and experiences to support high levels of continuity in children's well-being and experiences. • Staff do not consistently support the development of children's personal responsibility to the highest levels. • The managers do not make maximum use of the very good relationships with parents to fully draw on their views to support the future development of the club.
