They tell visitors that they like coming to the club. The enjoy mixing with lots of children from different schools and with differing skills and abilities. • The provider, who is also the manager, involves parents and children well in reviewing and improving the provision.

For example, parents and children complete regular questionnaires and children help to plan the menus for snacks and meals. • Staff provide children with a wide range of interesting and enjoyable experiences that complement well their learning from elsewhere. There is a good variety of resources for children to use.

During scho...ol holidays children enjoy trips to the seaside and wildlife centres. • Staff are very nurturing and kind. They show great care towards the children who attend.

They ensure that children have opportunities to talk about their day and share any worries they may have. • The provider does not always share the useful information that she gathers about children's interests and progress at school or nursery with other staff who work closely with individual children. • Sometimes staff do things for younger children that they want to try to do or are already able to do for themselves.
