Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • Staff have strong relationships with other settings that children attend.

They regularly share information about children's interests and experiences to support good levels of continuity in their care and well-being. • The views of the children and parents are regularly gained to identify the club's strengths and target areas for improvement. This shared approach helps to drive improvement forward.

• The spacious room is well organised and resourced. Staff provide a good selection of activities that suit the needs of the wide age range of children at the club. Children excitedly follow their own interests and become absorbed in their play.
.../>• Staff act as positive role models. They set a good example through their calm approach and friendly manner. Children demonstrate a clear understanding of their boundaries and their behaviour is good.

They show that they are confident and emotionally settled. It is not yet outstanding because: • Staff do not always promptly obtain information from parents regarding what they know about their child's interests before they begin at the club. • Professional development opportunities focus on mandatory training rather than prioritising areas that will enhance staff's overall practice.
