Summary of key findings for parents
This provision is good The manager provides effective leadership to a well-stablished staff team. She generally reflects well on staff’s practice and is continually striving to maintain high standards. She has recently implemented some new systems to improve the efficiency of the club. Children’s safety is of high priority and staff are deployed effectively throughout the club to support its smooth running and ensure children’s safety at all times. There is a key-person system that supports children to develop trusting and supportive relationships with staff. Partnerships between the host school and the club are strong. Staff work together well with teachers to ensure the safety and well-being of the children. It is not yet outstanding because: Staff do not consistently make the most of opportunities to encourage children to be independent and make their own choices about their play. At times, staff do not offer the best possible support for children to extend their social skills further.
