This provision is good • The manager is aware of the strengths of the setting and areas for further development. Staff review the activities that children have taken part in to ensure that they are meeting children's interests. Staff have daily opportunities for discussion about the provision as well as regular team meetings.

• Partnerships with parents are strong. Parents state that communication is good to keep them informed about their child's day. Staff share information with parents, including passing on messages from class teachers.

• Staff demonstrate a strong commitment to working in partnership with the host school. They share any concerns about children with th...e class teacher so that a joint approach to managing the concern can be put in place. • Children are happy and settled in this welcoming and friendly setting.

They build secure emotional attachments to staff. • Children take responsibility for their own behaviour and play happily together. They enjoy the company of others and understand the need to share and take turns.

Older and younger children develop good friendships. They readily invite each other to join in their games. • Staff do not organise the outdoor provision well enough to support and promote children's enjoyment outdoors.
