This provision is outstanding Staff provide an exceptionally welcoming, attractive and stimulating environment for children. They are extremely capable and knowledgeable and skilfully support children when they make their own choices from the extensive range of resources. Children engage in their play and learning exceptionally well and take part in exciting and inspiring activities. Enthusiastic staff challenge children’s thinking and language skills extremely well. For example, they involve children in high-quality discussions and ask thought-provoking questions. Children all make excellent progress in their learning from their starting points. Staff are exemplary role models to children and are exceptionally nurturing in their approach. They have high expectations for all children. Children’s behaviour is excellent throughout the nursery and they flourish in the staff’s highly effective care. Staff have excellent relationships with parents and children’s wider families. Families feel very included and extremely welcome. Parents speak enthusiastically about the highly positive role staff have in the life of their children. Staff provide excellent feedback and information to parents, such as ways to support their children’s learning and development at home. Leadership is exceptional. The manager is highly motivated and leads the staff team extremely well. She uses self-evaluation exceptionally well, and staff, parents and children all contribute to this process and their views are acted on. This helps to monitor the quality of the provision highly effectively to drive very well-considered improvements that meet children’s needs.
