Older children support younger children when t...hey play together. Children enjoy conversations and playing with staff. Staff clearly demonstrate that they take time and actively listen to what children have to say.

This allows them to tailor activities to meet their individual interests. Staff are good role models for children. Staff skilfully adapt their levels of support and expectations to each child's age and stage of development.

Staff acknowledge children's achievements according to their individual abilities.

Staff work closely with the school the children attend. They gather essential information that helps them to build a clear understanding of children's individual needs and the level of development they are individually at.

This greatly benefits all the children, ensuring they are happy to attend and settle quickly.Staff actively engage in the children's play. Children relish with delight as they work together with staff, constructing brick buildings and boats.

They confidently talk about their ideas, thoughts and encourage each other's creativity.Children clearly understand and demonstrate the importance of good hygiene procedures. For example, they skilfully and confidently explain the reasons as to why they should wash their hands prior to mealtimes.

Mealtimes are a social event, and children enjoy choosing from a range of healthy options on offer. Staff help children to serve and are developing further opportunities for children to do this themselves. Staff praise children for having good manners and being polite.

This helps to boost children's confidence and self-esteem.Children enjoy being physically active at the club and take part in a variety of games, including those using a ball, to help build their good coordination skills. In addition, some children enjoy practising gymnastic movements.

Staff ensure that all of the children are provided with a safe space, they discuss any possible dangers and remind children to be aware of others around them while playing.Children show great confidence as they chat with visitors. They enthusiastically talk about their enjoyment of the club, playing with their friends and comment they 'love attending'.

Parents speak highly of the club and staff. Staff work closely with parents to ensure that children's individual needs are met. Parents comment that their children enjoy attending and they often do not want to leave at the end of the session.

The management team are extremely passionate about the club. They work hard to communicate their vision for the club with other professionals at the host school. They routinely ask children for their thoughts and opinions on the club, ensuring they are happy.
