The provision is good • Children enjoy their time at the club. They are happy and settled and have developed good friendships.

• Staff regularly check the environment to ensure that the resources and areas children use remain in good condition. Staff make sure that children remain safe in the club. • Children participate in sports and craft activities with their friends and build on their physical, social and creative skills.

• Partnerships with parents are good. Staff exchange information with parents daily to enable them to be fully aware of children's activities. • Staff are sensitive to children's individual needs and recognise when some children may need a quiet per...iod on arrival.

They support children's emotional well-being effectively. It is not yet outstanding because: • At times, staff complete tasks for children that they could easily do for themselves and do not fully encourage children's independence. • Staff occasionally miss opportunities to support children to understand the importance of making healthy food choices.
