Summary of key findings for parents
This provision is outstanding The manager and deputy managers are determined in their pursuit of providing the highest level of care for all children. They are highly reflective and systematically evaluate the quality of the nursery. The manager continually strives for excellence and fully involves staff, parents and children in reviewing and refining the nursery provision. Parents are highly delighted with the excellent quality of the educational support and exemplary care their children receive. They report how extremely pleased they are with the ’consistent staff, who know their children extremely well and demonstrate a genuine love for them’. Parents describe the nursery as being ’like an extended family’. Staff are highly skilled in supporting and extending children’s literacy development. They work extremely closely with local schools to create a meticulous approach to teaching literacy. Children develop superb knowledge of a wide range of stories. They display excellent memory recall skills and accurately record stories in their drawings and writing. The manager and deputy managers provide highly focused supervision and professional development for staff. They carry out robust reviews of staff practice to sustain the extremely effective teaching and support staff to gain high level qualifications. This impacts tremendously on all children’s learning and supports their outstanding progress. Babies and young children thrive in this welcoming and inclusive nursery. They develop exceedingly secure emotional attachments to their key persons. Staff are highly responsive to children’s individual learning needs and nurture them superbly well.
