Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is outstanding Leadership and management of the setting inspires the whole team who work exceptionally well together, maintaining the highest levels of achievement for children. There are excellent systems in place to evaluate all aspects of the provision, including the quality of teaching and learning, leading to exceptional practice. Children thrive in the nursery, enjoying an abundance of exciting and challenging play and learning experiences. Practitioners give children time to be curious, inquisitive and work out things for themselves. This means that children develop a thirst for learning and are well prepared for school. Teaching is excellent and practitioners are highly responsive to children’s needs. They use their expert knowledge of how children learn and take great care to tailor activities to meet children’s individual learning needs and interests. Superb partnerships, both with parents and other professionals, ensure that children’s individual needs are recognised and given the utmost priority. Parents are provided with an excellent overview of their child’s learning and development. This ensures that children’s needs are quickly identified and met exceptionally well. Children’s behaviour is exemplary. Practitioners are excellent role models and children are listened to with genuine interest and their thoughts are praised. From an early age, children learn about sharing, taking turns and thinking about the needs of others. Children are highly praised in their achievements, resulting in high levels of confidence and resilience.
