The provision is good • Leaders monitor and support staff well to develop the quality of their practice. Staff are well qualified and supported to access training that enhances their skills, such as working with children who require additional support with their communication and language skills.

• Staff know children very well and foster positive relationships with them. Children enter the nursery happily and are eager to join in with activities. They foster positive peer relationships that are well supported by staff.

• Children enjoy playing with staff. Staff have appropriate expectations for each child's stage of development, which is accurately and regularly assesse...d. Staff provide enjoyable learning experiences to support children's overall development.

• All children make good progress from their individual starting points. It is not yet outstanding because: • Staff do not always encourage children to fully follow their own interests and bring their play to a natural conclusion. • Staff do not fully provide highly effective learning opportunities for children who prefer to learn outdoors.
