The provision is good • Children enjoy their time at the club. They participate in activities and make independent choices from a good range of resources and play materials. • Staff have established effective links with the school that children attend.

This helps to provide children with consistency in their care. • Partnerships with parents are good. Staff ensure that they share information with them about what the children have been doing during the day.

• Children develop their creative skills. For example, as they build houses with construction materials, they use the available resources and make props to support their imaginative skills. • Children have many opportu...nities to learn the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle.

For example, they regularly play outdoors in the secure playground and are reminded to drink plenty of water to keep themselves hydrated. It is not yet outstanding because: • Young children who are less confident are not always rigorously supported in developing new friendships. • The arrangements for the performance management and support of staff are not strong enough, to help raise the quality of their interactions with children to the highest level.
