This provision is good Managers have worked hard since the last inspection to implement changes that have had a positive impact on the quality of the provision and on children's well-being. Thorough recruitment checks are now in place for all staff, to confirm their suitability and help ensure children's welfare and safety.

Children have fun at this friendly, welcoming club. They arrive happily after school and quickly join in a wide variety of activities with their friends. Staff have a close relationship with the school and work with them well.

They exchange useful information each day, to help ensure a consistent approach to children's learning and care. There are str...ong partnerships with parents. Staff keep them well informed about day to day activities and events.

Parents value the caring approach of staff and are happy with the service they provide. It is not yet outstanding because: The arrangements for the ongoing supervision and support of staff are not as comprehensive as possible, to help clearly identify how individual staff members can raise the quality of their practice even further. Staff do not consistently gather detailed information when children first start, to help them settle children in and sharply focus activities on their interests from the outset.
