Staff keep parents fully informed about their children's progress and how to support their learning at home. • Children have developed close bonds with staff and demonstrate that they feel safe and secure in their care. Children arrive happily and settle into the routines.

Children develop a good sense of ...belonging and self-esteem. • Children make good progress, including those who are in receipt of free early education. They learn skills that they will need to become independent.

• On occasions, staff do not manage group activities effectively. Noise levels become too high and this impacts on children's ability to listen and engage in other activities. • Staff do not gain the best possible information from parents about their children's abilities and experiences to help them precisely identify their starting points in learning.
