Children develop good friendships. • The well-established key-person system ensures that the youngest children are supported effectively. Children are settled and interact with staff and other children well.

This supports their personal, social and emotional development. • Staff promote children's physical development well. They provide children with daily opportunities for fresh air and exercise, and make good use of the school's outdoor facilities.

• Children are awa...re of the club rules and understand why these are in place. They learn to take turns with resources and games. They are well behaved and well mannered.

Older children ensure they include younger ones in club activities. • Partnerships with the host school and parents are well established to help meet the needs of children. There are robust systems in place to ensure there is a good flow of information between the club, school staff and parents.

This shared approach to children's development ensures they receive continuity of care and their learning is extended. • The management team is committed to developing the club. There is a strong commitment to improve the club further through setting ambitious targets and action plans.
