Abercerdin Primary School is in the village of Evanstown, near Bridgend. The school has 163 pupils aged between 3 and 11, including 20 pupils who attend the nursery on a part-time basis. Pupils are taught in seven classes, five of which are for pupils of mixed ages. The school’s three-year average for pupils eligible for free school meals is around 20%.
