Caradog Primary School is in Aberdare in the Cynon Valley. The school currently has 204 pupils from the ages of three to 11, most of whom live in the local area. There are six mainstream classes, all of which are mixed-age except one. Two classes in the Foundation Phase temporarily contain more than 30 pupils by special permission of the local authority.
