Summary of key findings

This is a good provider Governors and leaders have successfully tackled most of the weaknesses identified at the previous inspection. All staff work together to instil a culture of inclusiveness at the college, and they promote tolerance and respect very effectively. Leaders have developed a good range of learning programmes that meet students’ needs and aspirations well. Staff have good links with employers. All students on supported internships and employability programmes access high-quality work placements. Staff work in partnership with parents and carers very effectively to support students to make good progress. Students benefit from effective therapeutic services that support them to make good progress and meet their personal targets. Managers ensure that the arrangements for students to move from school into college are very effective. Too few students for whom it is appropriate move into paid employment when they complete their course. In a few lessons, instructors do not deploy enablers well enough. In a small minority of lessons, instructors use resources that are not fit for purpose.
