Summary of key findings for parents and pupils

This is a good school School leaders have created a caring and warm learning environment where pupils feel safe. Teaching is of good quality and senior leaders make sure that staff are constantly seeking to improve their practice. The broad and interesting curriculum supports pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development well.

Children in the early years are happy and secure and make good progress. Governors are ambitious for the school and provide effective challenge and support to senior leaders. Pupils behave well and show positive attitudes to their learning.

Parents express overwhelming support for the school and are very happy with the variet...y of experiences it provides for their children. Most-able pupils are not consistently challenged, which means that they do not make progress from their starting points as quickly as others. Leaders of subjects other than English and mathematics do not evaluate the impact of their actions on pupils' achievement.

Pupils' writing skills are improving but are not as strong as their reading and mathematical skills.
