Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good The manager and staff monitor children's progress effectively and swiftly close any gaps in children's development. Staff work well with professionals outside the nursery, to help children who have special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities to reach their potential. All children make good progress from their individual starting points.

Staff help children become familiar with the nursery. They develop caring, affectionate relationships with children. Children are confident, secure, independent and eager to learn.

The manager effectively evaluates the provision to identify any strengths and weaknesses and improve outcomes for children. The ...manager is well supported to make changes by the management team, which manages the sister setting, and staff request parental feedback to help make further improvements. Parents speak highly of staff and the professional relationships they have with them.

Staff share important information about each child's progress and encourage parents to be fully involved with their child's learning to help support continuous care. It is not yet outstanding because: The new assessment process is not fully embedded to support groups of children to make the best possible progress. Information is not consistently shared with other settings that children attend to complement children's learning.
