The provision is good • Children are closely supervised through the manager's good deployment of staff. Children show that they feel happy, safe and secure.

For example, as they move from one activity to another they enthusiastically sing familiar songs with staff. • Children are encouraged to make choices as they take part in the wide range of interesting activities on offer. Following children's personal interests helps to promote their good levels of concentration.

• Children understand about good hygiene practice. They are aware that they must wash their hands before eating food. Children talk about how getting 'germs in their tummy' would make them sick.

• ...Children are encouraged to consistently develop good relationships with staff, who demonstrate a very enthusiastic and positive attitude. Children are keen to talk about what they like to do at the camp, such as swimming, colouring, face painting and the talent show. • Parents talk about how the staff are always happy and very friendly towards them and their children.

They describe how much their children like coming to the camp. It is not yet outstanding because: • The current key-person system is not consistently implemented in order to develop closer relationships with parents that promote information sharing. • Staff do not consistently work as closely with parents as possible to implement their healthy eating policy and support children's understanding of this.
