Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • Since the previous inspection, the management team has successfully evaluated the provision. For example, clearly defined play spaces have been designed to meet the needs of younger children. • Children are happy, settled and confident.

They have good relationships with staff and each other. Children arrive from different schools keen to find their friends and play. • Children are provided with a wide range of activities that challenges and interests them, such as pretending to be hairdressers at the salon.

• Children have the opportunity to enjoy fresh air and exercise daily. During fine weather they enjoy exploring the playground including a pir...ate ship, large climbing frame and wheeled toys. • Staff have high expectations of what children can achieve to help them to develop their skills successfully.

Children behave well and show respect and kindness to others. It is not yet outstanding because: • Systems for professional development do not yet focus strongly enough on what can be done to improve the practice of individual staff. • Staff do not take full advantage of opportunities to gather information about children's skills and interests to further complement their learning.
