Highlights from Latest Inspection

Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • The new manager and leadership team have significantly improved the provision since the last inspection. They have successfully met all of the actions raised and demonstrate a strong commitment to drive continual improvement. • The manager and staff have worked extremely hard to make positive changes to enhance outcomes for children.

For example, regular supervision, support and coaching of staff are more targeted and effective to raise the quality of teaching. • Staff are knowledgeable about how children learn. They make effective use of their observation, assessment and planning processes to help children make good progress in preparation for their next ...stages of learning, including school.

• Staff build good partnerships with parents and other professionals to exchange information and promote consistency in children's learning. • The leadership team successfully reflects on the provision's strengths and areas for future development. For example, there is a good professional development programme in place to support staff members' personal effectiveness even further.

• Children are happy and settled. Staff build good relationships with children. They frequently boost their self-esteem by using praise and recognition of their achievements.

This contributes positively to children's emotional development. It is not yet outstanding because: • Staff do not consistently offer children the highest levels of challenge to fully develop their thinking skills. • Staff do not plan a variety of opportunities for children to use a wide range of technology to fully extend their learning.
