This provision is good • Staff offer a welcoming and nurturing learning environment where children feel safe and secure. They welcome parents and their children when they arrive at the nursery. Children develop a good sense of belonging and community.

• Staff attend well to the needs of babies and involve them in fun play. Babies babble happily. • Staff know children well and support their learning effectively.

Children make good progress in relation to their individual starting points. They are well prepared for the next stages in their learning, including the move on to school. • Partnerships between staff and parents are very strong.

For example, staff keep p...arents fully informed about their children's progress and well-being, and actively engage them in planning the next steps. • Parents' representatives act as a close link between parents and staff. For example, they encourage other parents to share their talents with the children.
