Staff have high expectations of children. They encourage them to work together and be a team by encouraging them and involving them.

Older children immediately go to help their friends when they accidentally spill their lunch. Younger children help their friends to find cushions to sit on during circle time. They make food for staff from the pretend buffet table, excitedly showing them what they have created.

This encourages positive relationships.Staff encourage children to keep themselves safe. They remind children about walking carefully up to the sports hall.

Older children hold their friends' hands and listen well to instructions from staff. Younger children respond immediately to staff's requests to line up to wash their hands at snack time. This encourages children's confidence in their own abilities.
