This provision meets requirements Children talk very fondly about the club, the staff and their peers. It is clear that there is a level of affection between those that attend. Children and staff laugh, smile and chat their way through activities.

Staff show a genuine interest in the children's facts, thoughts and feelings. This supports all children to feel extremely well valued. Staff have high expectations of all children.

All children behave very well. They show kindness to others and express to their friends their positive feelings towards them. They ensure that they take great care of their environment and the resources that they use within it.
<...br/>Children are independent and follow boundaries to keep themselves safe. They know how to tell staff if they need help.Children enjoy a wealth of activities and experiences.

Staff plan these based on children's interests. They include plenty of outdoor activities, such as sports and forest school. Indoors, they can choose between a diverse range of crafts, games and imaginative play.

Children at this club are energetic and happy. They spend their time having fun, making friends and enjoying their dinner time meal. They are building a wealth of personal, social and emotional skills.

What does the early years setting do well and what does it need to do better?

Staff at this club have an abundance of passion, enthusiasm and inspiration. They use this to provide a well-organised provision at the club. This results in a positive and nurturing ethos throughout the club.

Children settle in well. They are happy, confident and have fun. Staff know the children well and they use this to support settling in initially and then to further enhance the experiences for children throughout their time at the club.

Parents are extremely impressed and grateful for the provision at the out-of-school club. They feedback that staff are attentive, thoughtful and go above and beyond for their child and family. For example, one parents states that they are 'forever grateful that they could work full time in their dream career knowing their child is happy and safe'.

It is clear that staff and parents have built strong relationships. This supports the children to build positively on all aspects of their lives.The manager regularly asks parents and children for feedback on the club.

She uses this to support her own evaluation of the provision. She works tirelessly to ensure high-quality services are offered to children and their families. For example, children recently gave feedback on changes to the food menu.

Feedback is valued and acted upon swiftly to further enhance the provision.All staff listen to the children. They support them to make their own choices and decisions.

For example, children can choose what they would like to do and where they would like to do it. Staff understand how important it is for children to be able to express themselves through independence. Children are growing their self-esteem and confidence in a nurturing environment.

Staff communication is extremely effective. For example, time is allocated for staff discussions either side of each session. This supports staff to work seamlessly throughout the session.

In turn, the sessions are organised and very well planned. This means that children are able to get the most from their time in club and they access a wide range of activities and experiences.All the team complete extensive training across a broad range of topics.

They recently completed training on forest schools. This allows staff to provide exciting outdoor activities for the children to enjoy. For example, children enjoy working as a team to build dens outdoors.

Children are gaining the benefits of spending time in nature outdoors.

Safeguarding

The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.Safeguarding knowledge is strong for all staff.

For example, they have a broad range of knowledge on a variety of topics. These include online safety, bullying, grooming and exploitation. They are aware of issues that arise in the local community and the impact these could have on children and their families.

All staff know how to report any concerns they may have about adults or children to the local authority. Procedures are in place to ensure the setting is a secure and safe space for children. For example, mobile phones are stored away and all doors locked to prevent members of the public entering.
