Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • The management and staff team have made significant improvement since last inspection. This has had a positive impact on children's learning. For example, overall staff provide a well-organised environment where children enjoy purposeful play opportunities.

• All children, including those who have special educational needs and funded children, enjoy their learning and make good progress. Staff make observations and know the children well, helping them plan effectively for children's individual development. • Children behave well and are happy and settled.

Staff are sensitive to children's individual needs, helping to support their emotional well-b...eing effectively. • The management team has a clear understanding of what good practice looks like and is committed to transfer this knowledge to all staff. They plan targets to support good outcomes for all children.

For example, they have improved opportunities for children to be active and develop their physical skills outside. It is not yet outstanding because: • Staff do not always organise group-time activities for older children effectively, to help ensure all children are challenged and eager to join in according to their needs and development. • At times, staff miss opportunities to support children with their understanding of comparing quantities, size, weight and capacity, to help further support their mathematical development.
