This provision is goodnManagers are very passionate about the nursery provision and have high expectations for children's learning and their readiness for school. nStaff develop excellent partnership working with parents. They take account of information from parents when planning activities for children.

Staff encourage parents to continue children's learning, such as through initiatives to support reading at home. nManagers use staff's assessments of children's learning to closely monitor the progress children make. This helps managers to identify areas of the provision to target more precisely to ensure children's all round good level of development.

nChildren in the p...re-school room are motivated learners and engage well in activities. They play imaginatively for sustained periods, closely supported by skilful staff. nChildren's moves between rooms, and in and out of the setting, are managed well.

Children confidently cope with change and quickly build secure attachments to staff.nStaff use appropriate strategies to support those children who speak English as an additional language. Children have opportunities to hear and use their home language in play.

Staff introduce words in English to extend children's vocabulary.nAt times, staff in the baby room do not reflect on how the space is organised to ensure children can practise their early moving and walking skills at every opportunity.nStaff sometimes miss opportunities to extend children's learning even further.
