This provision is good • Since the previous inspection, the provider has taken positive action to make improvements.

Staff work well as a team and teaching is good overall. They use a wide range of stimulating resources and activities to engage children well. • Staff accurately assess children's progress and use the information to identify next steps in children's learning.

Planned activities link to children's abilities and interests. They achieve well from their starting points and make good progress. • Babies quickly develop secure attachments to their key person.

They are happy and settled, which shows they feel safe in the welcoming environment. Older child...ren have good relationships with staff and each other. They behave well.

They take turns when playing and listen to each other's ideas. • Parents are pleased with the nursery and value the support the staff provide. They say that staff help their children prepare very well for the move to school, so children are emotionally ready and independent.

• The provider has improved assessments of staff's practice to identify their strengths and areas to improve. However, she does not use the information she gathers as effectively as possible in order to precisely target staff's individual training needs. • Children who speak English as an additional language do not have enough opportunities to use their home languages in order to help them make rapid progress in developing their speaking skills.
