Staff keep parents informed about their children's day and the activities they have enjoyed. Parents speak highly of the setting, in particular the thoughtful care staff offer their children. A strong and effective partnership with the school helps to fully support children and meet their care and welfare needs consistently.

Children are confident and secure. They talk to staff and each other, sharing their ideas and thoughts enthusiastically. The staff support the emotional needs of the children well.

For example, they sympathetically support children who are less sure of themselves. It is not yet outst...anding because: On occasion, some staff do not fully support children's listening skills. For example, they use loud voices over the noise of the room when talking to children.
