This provision is good • Staff have created a bright, welcoming and secure environment, with a variety of good-quality resources.

They provide lots of interesting activities so that children have fun while they learn. • Children's individual needs are met by the effective key-person system. Children form secure attachments to staff.

They enjoy their time at nursery and settle well from the start. • Managers and staff have formed positive relationships with parents and share daily information with them about children's progress and routines. • Staff keep clear records that track each child's progress.

They work closely with other professionals to provide extra su...pport where children need it, especially for those children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). • Staff are positive role models. They sit with children at lunchtimes and encourage them to use good manners.

Children clearly demonstrate their understanding of expected behaviour. • Staff do not make the most of all opportunities for children to develop their self-care skills and independence during daily routines. • Managers do not always evaluate whether the changes and improvements they make lead to better outcomes for children.
