This provision is goodnStaff have close relationships with children and parents. They take time to get to know children's individual personalities and value their home cultures.

This helps children to feel secure and assists them to settle into the setting quickly. nChildren with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported very well. The setting works closely with parents and a range of professionals to ensure children receive the support they need.

nLeaders and staff have established good relationships with local schools. There is a good exchange of information about children's individual needs and development. This helps to make children's transitions in...to school smooth.

nParents speak highly about the setting. They praise the close bonds staff have developed with their children and say they are kept well informed about their children's progress. Staff share ideas with parents about how they can extend children's learning at home.

nChildren enjoy trips and outings to places that reflect their interests and extend their learning experiences. This also helps them to learn about their community and the wider world. For example, they visit the local supermarket and pet shop.

Children make good progress in their learning. nAlthough teaching is good overall, some staff do not provide high levels of challenge during activities for children to make the best possible progress in their learning. nOn occasions, staff miss opportunities to help children understand how making healthy choices affects their bodies and overall good health.
