This provision is good Relationships with parents are extremely strong.

Parents are highly complimentary about the nursery. They feel well supported and informed about their child's progress. All children are very focused and motivated to learn.

They are engaged fully in the learning that takes place and are keen to develop the skills they gain. Children form very strong attachments to their key person, as well as the wider staff team. They are confident in communicating their needs to staff and seek comfort or support when they need it.

Children make good levels of progress at the nursery. Staff provide appropriate support to all children to ensure that they ga...in the skills necessary for the next stage in their learning. The nursery offers excellent opportunities for children to learn about the wider community.

For example, children enjoy visiting the nearby care home and they work together with residents to share experiences and complete activities. It is not yet outstanding because: Sometimes, information from observations is not used really effectively to identify specific next steps in children's learning. On occasion, older children do not have enough opportunities to be fully challenged in their learning.
