This provision is good • Children have a great time at the club. They enthusiastically tell the inspector about all the fun they have and the many activities they can choose from. Staff carefully consider children's interests and use these to plan interesting and engaging activities.

• The manager has made significant progress since her last inspection. She has employed a deputy manager who helps her accurately assess the quality of practice and plan relevant improvements, which impact positively on children. • Children are confident and very settled.

They have close friendships with each other and enjoy the company and conversation of staff, who know them very well. • A...lthough the manager provides some informal feedback to staff about the quality of their practice, there are not regular appraisal meetings to plan focused, personal coaching and support programmes. • While recruitment procedures are effective, some records particularly relating to the employment of cover staff, are not as robust and organised as those of permanent staff.
