Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • Staff are attentive and focus on developing children's confidence and love of learning. They regularly observe and assess children's progress.

Staff plan enjoyable activities that help children to reach the next steps in their learning. • Children behave well. Staff are good role models and teach children to be polite and thoughtful.

Children play well together and form warm attachments with staff. Staff help children to complete simple tasks, such as tidying up and pouring drinks. This helps to give children a sense of responsibility and achievement.

• Staff build strong partnerships with parents and actively seek and value their views. ...Parents comment on the warmth of staff and the friendly atmosphere they help to create. • The provider is committed to ongoing evaluation.

They involve staff, parents and children in helping to assess the quality of their services. They have plans to build on their already good practice. For example, they have a strong professional development programme in place.

It is not yet outstanding because: • Occasionally, staff do not use their good knowledge of children to provide highly challenging experiences to motivate and further extend their learning. • At times, staff do not organise transitions in children's activities effectively. Children have to wait for periods and become distracted.
