This provision is outstanding • The inspirational manager and her team work incredibly well together. They are wholly committed to supporting children to reach their highest potential.

• Staff ignite children's interest in literacy exceptionally well. For instance, children eagerly nestle into the roots of the trees to listen to books. Staff effectively develop their skills of recall and expertly introduce new vocabulary.

Children are mesmerised by the stories and enthusiastically ask questions about the characters before acting out the storylines together in the forest. • Staff are vigilant of children's safety and deploy themselves extremely well. They foster an enviro...nment where children are encouraged to develop an excellent understanding of taking risks and managing their personal safety.

For instance, children enthusiastically navigate ladders to climb onto tree decks and confidently abseil down ropes to the ground. • Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make rapid progress from their starting points. • Parent partnerships are effective.

Parents speak extremely highly of the 'unique' setting and the 'dedicated' staff team. They praise the excellent opportunities that their children have to learn outdoors in the forest school and the wealth of trips and outings they are offered. They praise the superb opportunities children have to develop their independence skills.

• Children with SEND receive excellent support from the staff. The nursery fosters excellent relationships with a wide range of professionals to ensure that children's individual needs are extremely well met. Excellent monitoring of children's progress means that swift interventions are put in place if there is a concern about a child's development.
