The provision is good • Staff build strong partnerships with other settings that children attend and professionals involved in children's lives.

They communicate effectively to ensure all children receive the support they need to make good progress in their learning and development. • Children have excellent opportunities to respect and understand the similarities and differences of people in the wider world. They thoroughly enjoy an extensive range of interesting activities, for example, learning about Spanish traditions.

Staff support children who speak English as an additional language particularly well. • Parents are fully involved in their children's learning from t...he start. They report positively on the support nursery staff offer them and their children.

• Children enjoy the time they spend in the nursery. Staff offer plenty of cuddles and reassurance and new children settle very quickly. • The manager and staff are committed to providing the best quality play and learning environment they can for children.

They have an accurate view of the quality of the provision and identify areas for further development successfully. It is not yet outstanding because: • The manager has not fully developed effective supervisory sessions with staff to raise the quality of teaching to an even higher level. • Arrangements for monitoring progress do not focus sharply on identifying any differences in the progress made by different groups of children.
