Ideas for improvement are carefully considered to help ensure that any action taken has an extremely positive impact on children. The nursery makes the most of its position within the community. Staff have formed superb relationships with local people which significantly enhance children's learning.

Neighbours help children to grow fruit and vegetables to eat. They also help them to understand how to care for animals that live on the adjacent smallholding. Staff value highly the role of parents in children's learning.

They use the information parents share to foster children's interests and build upon their abilities. Parents receive continuous updates of children's achievements and are given guidance to support their children's learning at home. Parents are positively emotional when they describe the significant impact the nursery has had on their children's learning and well-being.

They rate the nursery highly and feel children are privileged to attend such a loving and caring setting. Children are keen and motivated learners. They look forward to completing tasks at home which staff set, and remind their parents when it is homework day.
