This provision is good • The passionate manager and her dedicated team of staff provide a very welcoming and stimulating environment. Their warm and friendly manner creates a relaxed atmosphere, where each child is highly valued and supported effectively.

• Staff observe children and complete regular and precise assessments of their development. They skilfully plan exciting learning opportunities that are robustly linked to children's interests. This helps children remain engaged, highly motivated and focused and supports them to make good progress.

• Children are extremely happy and settled in the nursery. They are supported by kind and caring staff who are positive rol...e models. Children build good friendships with others and form trusting relationships with staff.

This helps to support children's self-esteem and their emotional well-being. • The manager has created a strong culture of reflective practice. She uses self-evaluation effectively and gathers the views of parents and children to help set targets and identify areas for future improvement.

• Strategies to engage all parents in supporting and sharing information about their children's learning are not yet fully effective. • Staff provide good narratives during children's play and in the main ask skilful questions that encourage children's communication and language skills. However, on occasions, they do not always give children adequate time to respond and consolidate their thinking.
