This provision meets requirements Children settle well into a familiar environment as friendly and attentive staff welcome them. All children have an understanding of the routine, settling in quickly and happily.

For example, they put away their belongings and engage with the activities, joined by enthusiastic staff. Children have strong attachments with staff. They feel safe and secure in the club.

Children feel respected by the staff as they are listened to and their opinions are valued. For example, they often take votes, and staff explain and break down the rules. This allows children to have a voice and be listened to by the staff, and understand and ...value others.

Staff offer a variety of opportunities and experiences for children. Children enjoy being physically active and leading healthy lifestyles. They build on their love of stories through construction materials by creating their own story.

Children take part in a cooking club, where they continue to understand the importance of healthy eating. Occasionally, their sessions will be split into tabletop activities, such as art and craft, books and construction materials, as well as physical activities. This enables children to take part in a range of play opportunities.

What does the early years setting do well and what does it need to do better?

All children take part in games that require teamwork and problem-solving. This helps them to build their confidence. Children enjoy playing cooperatively with different peer groups and support others.

They are eager to join in activities.Parents have good relationships with staff. They comment that staff are friendly and have created secure bonds with their children, allowing them to feel confident and secure.

Parents speak highly of how happy their children are to attend the club.Parents value the feedback from some of the staff during handover sessions. They are particularly impressed with a continuation of story time through children's interest in building, ending up in the children creating their own stories.

However, staff are working on the feedback to all families to build consistency in feedback to all parents about all activities by all staff.Staff place a high importance on children taking part in physical activity. Children spend half their time outside.

Staff allow family siblings to join in the fun together, allowing children to extend their social and emotional skills. Children converse with one another happily and are enthusiastic to join in the range of activities and experiences on offer. Staff know the procedures to follow if they have any concerns about the children in their care. They show a good understanding of the 'Prevent' duty. Leaders and managers ensure that robust recruitment and induction procedures are in place, to ensure the suitability of staff.

All staff complete core subjects as part of their induction, along with safeguarding training, which is kept up to date. Staff are deployed well throughout different activities. This ensures that children's behaviour is managed well, and children are kept safe and secure.
