This provision is goodnThe caring staff spend plenty of time playing with children in a positive way.

They build strong bonds with the children, who are happy, settled and secure. The inclusive environment meets children's emotional well-being successfully.nStaff place a good emphasis on supporting children's early reading skills.

For example, babies and toddlers enjoy looking at books and repeat words, such as animal sounds from familiar stories.nPartnerships with parents are strong. Staff encourage regular communication and involve parents in all aspects of their children's learning.

They value parents' contributions highly, and regularly discuss children's dev...elopment, interests and next steps.nStaff use detailed observation records, and their knowledge of individual children's interests, to plan a broad range of activities. Subsequently, children are enthusiastic and eager to explore.

nAll children make good progress from their starting points. Toddlers make independent choices in their play and are eager to explore and investigate their surroundings.nStaff are committed to their professional development.

However, leaders do not evaluate the impact of training to help them identify any gaps in staff's skills and knowledge to develop their practice even further. nOccasionally, staff interrupt the flow of play of babies and toddlers to carry out daily routines, which prevents children from becoming deeply engrossed in learning.nThe opportunities for children to explore a greater range of sensory resources and natural objects outdoors are not maximised, particularly for those children who prefer to spend time outdoors.
