They are welcomed by the warm and nurturing staff, who know them well. Children are settled and comfortable in an environment that staff ensure is safe and secure. They are confident to choose what they would like to do and motivated to join in with the activities provided.

Children benefit from challenging and interesting experiences. For instance, they enjoy the tricky task of completing an obstacle course across large tyres. Older children support and include the younger children.

They take turns and work together. Children listen to each other's ideas and encou...rage their friends. Children are polite and well-behaved.

They understand the clear rules that staff put in place, and are highly considerate of one another. For example, they kindly thank their friends for holding the door open as they enter the building. Children take pride in having the responsibility to be helpful.

When arriving at the club they know what is expected of them. They place their water bottles where they can easily access them and hang up their own coats and bags. Staff support the younger children to be independent and try things for themselves.

Children demonstrate that they feel valued and have a strong sense of belonging in the club.
