This provision is good • The provider has taken positive steps to address the areas highlighted for improvement at the previous inspection. For instance, a new and highly ambitious operations manager has been recruited who has been supporting the team to make rapid improvements to enhance outcomes for children. • Staff are knowledgeable about how children learn.

They skilfully meet the needs of the children and plan a good range of interesting and engaging activities to support them to gain new knowledge and skills. Children make good progress in relation to their starting points. • Children are happy, settled and enjoy their time at the setting.

They have strong attachm...ents to staff and have warm and encouraging interactions with them. Children show that they feel safe and secure enough to try new things and are motivated learners. • Staff have good opportunities for ongoing professional development and are well supported to develop their knowledge and skills.

For example, staff have attended training which has extended their understanding of how to support children's personal, social and emotional development and support them with their behaviour. • Partnerships with parents and other professionals are strong. Good communication and collaborative working enable staff to meet children's individual needs well.

Staff provide parents with helpful information about their children's progress and offer ideas to support their learning at home. • On occasions, staff do not make the most of spontaneous opportunities that arise to fully extend and challenge children's learning. • The systems in place to evaluate the quality of teaching are not sharply focused to raise teaching to the highest level.
