The provision is good • The manager is eager to enhance the setting and is passionate about providing high-quality experiences for the children. She encourages staff to gain skills and knowledge, including nationally recognised childcare qualifications.

Staff use their new knowledge well to provide stimulating experiences for children. Children are keen and motivated to learn. • Staff form secure relationships with children and parents.

They offer staged settling-in sessions for new children and provide ongoing support that meets children's needs well. Children develop superb confidence and exceptional self-esteem. • Key persons know children well and make accurate asses...sments about children's achievements.

Children make good progress in their learning. • Staff focus on supporting children's language well. They talk with the children, use their names so they know who staff are talking to, and offer new words to help extend their vocabulary.

All children's communication is developing well. It is not yet outstanding because: • On occasion, staff adapt activities or add in extra resources in ways that miss opportunities to allow children to explore or experiment in their own way. • Sometimes, staff are too eager to ask more questions and do not give children sufficient time to think and develop ideas that enhance children's learning and development.
