Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • Children are enthusiastic about attending the club and make good attachments with staff.

Children settle well and staff help them gain confidence in making decisions and choosing what they want to do. • Staff are good role models. They teach children to have respect and tolerance for each other.

Children behave well. They play cooperatively together and older children help and support the younger children in their play. • Staff have established positive relationships with parents.

They share information to ensure continuity of care to meet each child's needs. • Children have interesting opportunities to explore and learn. They especially ...enjoy playing outdoors in the well-resourced playground and do so each day.

Children have plenty of opportunities for fresh air and exercise. • The provider and manager continually evaluate the quality of care and activities provided to children. The views of parents, staff and children are highly valued.

They are included in the process to help implement ongoing improvements to the club. It is not yet outstanding because: • Staff miss some opportunities to develop children's understanding of healthy eating and the effect it has on their bodies. • Staff do not fully provide opportunities to help children to gain an understanding of diversity and different traditions in the wider community.
