Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good • Since the previous inspection, the provider has worked hard to make improvements.

For example, staff now receive confidential meetings that enable them to discuss their training needs, their key children and anything that may be worrying them. Furthermore, the provider has improved the recruitment and induction procedures. This helps to ensure that all staff are suitable, understand their roles and responsibilities and know how best to promote children's welfare and learning.

• The provider regularly observes staff practice. This helps to ensure staff engage children in challenging and positive experiences. Furthermore, the provider now closely m...onitors the educational programme provided for all children.

This helps to ensure that all next steps in learning for each child are identified, included in planning and fully promoted by all staff. • Staff provide a warm and caring environment where children settle quickly and become ready to learn. They use high levels of praise and encouragement throughout the day.

This helps children to behave well, build friendships and develop their strong emotional attachments. • The provider ensures the views of the staff, parents and children are fully included in the self-evaluation processes of the nursery. This helps her to focus on further improvement that will continue to promote the already good outcomes for all children.

• Staff seek information from parents about what their children already know and can do. However, staff are less successful at helping parents to promote their children's learning in the home environment. • There are not enough opportunities for children to gain an awareness of how they differ from, or are similar to, other people.
