Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good • A new manager has been appointed since the last inspection. She demonstrates a strong commitment to making improvements to the provision. For example, she has made positive changes to the garden to support children who learn best outdoors.

• Staff create welcoming and stimulating learning environments. They provide children with a variety of toys and activities that keep them motivated to learn. Children of all ages are curious and engaged in their learning.

• Children have many opportunities to develop the social, communication and physical skills that are important for their future learning. Children make good developmental progress from their ...starting points. • Staff form close relationships with the children.

They give children lots of attention and care, which supports children's emotional well-being. • Staff deployment is effective. Children are supervised well during play.

• Staff complete regular risk assessments to help check the premises are safe and secure for the children. • Staff receive regular supervision and guidance. However, this is not focused sharply to identify how individual staff members can raise their teaching to the highest level.

• The manager has not fully considered how to best communicate with all parents. Consequently, some parents are not consistently informed about their children's learning and development. This does not establish a highly consistent approach.
