Managers have developed a culture of self-evaluation and continually strive for, and make, meaningful ongoing improvement. All children, including babies, are very settled and happy. The home visits and the strong partnership with parents contribute to this.

Children have close bonds with staff and demonstrate high levels of independence and confidence. The well-qualified staff support children's emerging language skills very well. This includes children who speak English as an additional language.

Several staff speak different ...languages and use these alongside English to help children make connections in their learning. Staff thoroughly observe and assess children's achievements. Any gaps in children's learning are quickly identified and staff implement specific support swiftly.

This information is shared highly effectively with parents and with other professionals, such as teachers in schools. This helps to promote excellent continuity in children's care and learning. Parents speak extremely highly about the nursery.

They say that when their children wake up they excitedly ask if it is a nursery day. They describe the progress of their children's social skills as 'immense'. Parents are provided with several ways for them to be actively involved in their children's learning and development.
