This provision is good • The leaders are ambitious and have great vision. Staff are recognised as a valuable resource and receive a wide range of vocational training to help improve their teaching.

This creates a very firm foundation for the high-quality care and learning they strive to provide for children. • Partnerships with parents are very good. The nursery is particularly adept at working with other agencies and services to ensure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those with complex health needs receive first-class support.

As a result, all children participate in all aspects of the nursery day. • Staff have a wide range of qualif...ications and experience and their teaching is good. The toys and resources are presented in an inviting manner and children make many choices as they play.

Staff complete regular observations and accurately assess children's progress. Plans to help children make progress are securely based on their interests. Children enjoy many imaginative activities that ignite their enthusiasm for learning.

• Key-person systems effectively support children's emotional development and sense of security. Children are happy and at ease within the nursery. Staff present positive models of behaviour and encourage respectful relationships between the children.

This promotes their good behaviour. • On some occasions, staff do not use recognise when to reshape tasks as children play, to enhance the chances for children to build on their learning. • There is an opportunity for staff to extend resources and develop activities that help children widen their perceptions of diversity within today's society.
